These nest of tables are for the living room. The glass has amberised which is when the glass has been left to soak in a special mud - which creates that brown orange tint to it.
Overlapping the different layers of glass add depth and a subtle contrast.
This same concept has a different effect when over-lapping Cyan, Magenta and Yellow. A subtractive colour model, used in printing.
When CMY “primaries” are combined at full strength, the resulting “secondary” mixtures are red, green and blue. Mixing all three gives an imperfect black. This is more subtle in these tables.
